- Fethiye is a wonderful harbor town of the Southern Coast of Turkey with a rich history of it own. This was the Ancient city of Telmessos a important city of Lycia. The ruins of which can be seen in the city today. Telmessos means "land of light" and was the name of a son that the God Apollo had with youngest daughter of a ancient king.
